Q: I’d love to hear you speak about learning.
John: Real learning takes place in your self. It comes about when you in your self are informed by what you really are. The learning in your self takes place when something of your self becomes the same as what you really are.
Real learning doesn’t come by acquiring information. It doesn’t even come by acquiring the truth through awakening.
Real learning takes place in the change of your self because of you being what you really are – you being the truth you know in the midst of your self, creating an alchemy of change where your self becomes the same as your being.
More specifically, it comes by you, awareness, relaxing and remaining in your heart while your self is under pressure; staying in your heart while you are in the fire of life, enabling your sense of self to be melted down and reformed.
If there’s purely no story in it, that change is you, in your self, learning.
