When: December 8, 2015
Evening Open Mic
Where: ,

Q: I'd love you to speak more about the relationship of the being, the soul, the spirit, and love.

John: What matters more than anything – what matters more than your self, what matters more than your whole life, what matters more than your own heart, what matters more than your being, what matters more than any of your forms – is your soul.

Your soul is an unseen form. It’s the form of your evolution as awareness. It’s the evolution, the development, of what you really are. Your soul increases as you, awareness, respond to what you know. When you turn away from what you know, for any reason at all, your soul decreases.

Your soul is the most difficult level of yours to see. It’s the hardest to see because it has no contrast; it’s equally present in every level of yours, seen and unseen. Your soul is as present and there in the deepest levels of your being as it is equally there in your personality. There is nowhere in your forms where your soul is not.

When you’re present in your body in this life for what you most deeply know the truth of, then you are in reality, in this life, for your soul. The real opportunity of this life is for your soul to increase.

The more you respond to what you most deeply know the truth of, the more that your soul increases. The greater the personal cost of your response to what you know, the more deeply your soul increases.

Q: What is the spirit?

John: Your spirit is the essence of your being. As a metaphor, your spirit is like the breath of love. You, awareness, respond to your heart and there in your heart you come into the deepest that you know the truth of. It isn’t a concept. It is a most delicate beingness.

As you respond to that, you return to being the same as your being. As you continue to respond to the deepest that you know the truth of, you not only become one with your own being but you turn into its breath, and as you do, you’ll see what you’re asking about.

If you respond to this much, that puts you into the homework of a lifetime.

Q: Does it take a lifetime to come to that awareness?

John: No, but it will take a lifetime for you to express all you realize.

Q: Yesterday I heard you say that being alive in this body is the biggest opportunity to grow in awareness. I’d like to know what would be helpful for me in growing in awareness. John: By you letting your evolution as awareness matter more than everything that you have:
Q: Right after that last meeting I felt as if a little door opened in me. It had to do with what you said about experience being a messenger. Openness and softness took on new meaning. My body started opening and there was more movement, within. What disturbs me
Q: John, are we all one? John: Yes. But that’s very different from all of us really being there. On a deeper level within, yes, we are all one but if we live being separate from what our being is, we will all be separate: separate from our beings,
