Questions About

Feelings and Emotions

With John de Ruiter

What is Emotion? What are feelings? These are questions at the very core of our selves. Our feelings and emotions largely govern our reactions and relationships to stimulus in the world, and our connections with other people. How do I feel about this? What emotions are being brought up for me?

Though extremely powerful, and necessary parts of our life, emotions and feelings often lead people astray, as in many cases they are by products of conditioning. For example, when something distasteful happens to you, you may feel sadness, or anger.

It is important to realize that a persons feelings and emotions have a place, and a use, but should not dictate or control ones life.
