Q: Hi, John. For many years now, all I’m interested in is the inner truth. My question is, is there a way to accelerate the process of transformation?
John: Yes, by identifying subtleties of knowing in your heart, subtleties of knowing, within, that will be of personal cost if you surrender to them, and identifying subtleties of being, within, that if you were to be even one such subtlety of being within your self and in your life, that that would cost you personally.
The acceleration of awakening comes by you, as awareness, relating completely and directly to what you know the truth of, within. The more subtle the knowing that you surrender to, the greater the acceleration of awakening. Added to that, your own surrender to the subtleties of being, within, your own surrender as awareness, with all of your heart, to your own knowing of the delicacies of being – surrendering to being whatever that is just because you know the truth of it, and surrendering to being that in the midst of your self and in your life at any cost – and you’ll have your peaked acceleration.
Q: When you speak about being and heart and awareness, are they the same thing or slightly different flavours?
John: The heart is the arena of choice, the arena that awareness makes choice in. As awareness makes choice within the heart, awareness experiences the form of what choice is. When awareness makes choice in what’s deeper within than what the self is and what the heart is, awareness doesn’t experience the form of that choice. Then awareness just moves as oneness without an experience of it.
Your own being is the first form of what you are as knowing. Your own being is the form of the movement of truth. What you really are within is truth, but that has no understandable meaning in your self until the movement of truth, which is beingness, the form of your own being. Even just one subtlety of that touching your heart, and you have a sense as awareness within your self, in your heart, of what matters more than what your self is.
When you identify even one delicacy of your own being that emerges in your heart, it is as awareness that you either respond to the truth that you know of that delicacy of being, or that you react to the presence of it, knowing that if you respond to it, it will cost you something of your self. It’s because of the cost – the cost believed – that awareness reacts against such a wondrous delicacy of being in the heart.
When the cost of identifying with that delicacy of being doesn’t stop you, as awareness, in responding to what you’re knowing the truth of in your heart, then you experience turning into what that delicacy is. You experience the coming into oneness, the form of oneness first emerging in your heart, with your perception in your self of the cost of that not stopping you. That has you, as awareness, accelerating in awakening to what you know within matters more than your self and all of your life.
