Q: I would like to speak to you about my parents. When I was sixteen my father died, and for the last two years of his life I’d had no contact with him. My parents got divorced when I was fourteen and, because my…
What is enlightenment? Is it the highest spiritual attainment as many perceive it to be? In this dialogue, John explains that it is not enlightenment, but purity of heart that is what we are in a body for: awareness and knowing being one.
A deeper awakening is bringing a whole new perspective, a new intimacy with form and the beginning of what John describes as real humanness. He explains how this deeper connectivity brings about a shift in human sexuality and the consciousness of the planet.
This interviewer wants to get at how John’s teachings can open the territory many of us share – the world of relationship and sexuality. What gives relationship a true foundation? How can sexuality go deeper than want and need? You speak of connectivity and dearness, John, but how can we relate to that when we don’t like each other? These questions and more are worked out in this dialogue.
The Questioner feels guilty and trapped in her inability to deal with the pain of others. She knows that separating from them or confronting them doesn’t help. John shows her how a simple return to openness and softness of heart allows the cycle of their pain and hers to end… in her.
The wish to return to oneness is unravelled for us in this talk. John uses analogies to reveal how wishing and longing separate us from what we long for, and explains how only being the same as the direct knowledge fuelling our wish can return us to oneness.
“Cosmic love that calls you: higher than all of this world, most intimate and clean”. This is how John concludes his response to this young man asking the fundamental question: “What is Truth?” Watch the rest of his answer.
A young man would like to be free of the conditioning and judgments he knows are present in his sexuality and asks for help. John explains in practical terms how sexuality can be returned to the heart, freeing judgments held in the body and bringing balance and healing.
The Questioner is asking about something called a touchstone that is used to find what is gold and what is not gold. and something called the philosopher’s stone that turns base metal into gold. Which one is real?
Is it possible to move past the sudden loss of a loved one? Can we be free of the fear that it may bring up about the inevitability of our own death? The answer to both questions, is yes.
“Cosmic love that calls you: higher than all of this world, most intimate and clean”. This is how John concludes his response to this young man asking the fundamental question: “What is Truth?” Listen in to the rest of his answer.
In this talk, John explains that it is openness and softness of heart, in every little thing in life, that can become your beloved master. When you live being a servant to openness and softness of heart, that is you finding and living with the beloved within.
“My sole purpose is to be, in life, what we are after we’ve died. Through openness and softness of heart and core-splitting honesty at any personal cost, I live as that while actualizing the same in others I meet. I am available as a resource for anyone who recognizes and values this way of being.”
