The Profound Truth of Non-Polarity

Q: When I am in moments of silence, sometimes I come into the direct experience of the totality of this moment. There is only this moment and there is nothing else. There is no thought anymore. It is very clear, very solid and it just lasts for a few moments and then it’s gone. I would love to be that all my life. It’s just a very clear understanding of there is nothing else than just this at this particular moment that’s going on. Can you say something about that?

John: There, you are in existence and in experience relating as awareness without the use of polarity. There’s a profound truth to non-polarity. It’s that truth that you know within the experience, that for you to remain in that while you’re in your person and functioning in your life, this profound truth of non-polarity needs to form in your perspective. It needs to hold in your perspective without you holding the thought. It holds in your perspective because the way that you relate while in your person is no longer through the use of polarity. So it is a shift of awareness that you let have real form while in your person.

What’s threatening in your self to that, and what keeps you from that is that you’ll comprehend no fear while being submerged in your subconsciousness. When you hold to the forms of polarity in your experience while you’re in your person, that protects you from being submerged in your subconsciousness while you function as a person. Polarity offers you protection – not a real protection. It does offer you protection from all that you’ve avoided of your subconsciousness and all that you’ve run away from.

Q: It is in those moments that there is no polarity to be found, as if it precedes that moment.

John: Then let your knowledge of that truth have presence in your nervous system while you function and exist and move as a person. That accomplishes a fundamental shift in how you perceive reality while you continue to move in reality based on how you experience as a person, but you’ll no longer be dependent on the ground that’s offered to you through polarity.

Q: I have no control over it. I cannot activate that.

John: You can activate that by believing what you know in the midst of non-polarity. You believe what you know by relating directly to what you know; relating to what you know without the use of familiarity, without the use of what is offered as a something that has nothing to do with what you know.

Q: If I understand it right, it involves some kind of activity from me.

John: If it is an activity, it’s the activity of relating. Awareness moves by way of relating. As you relate to what you know in the midst of an experience, the relating doesn’t go to the experience; it goes to what you know in it. It is an activity, but it is an activity that appears as nothing. It appears as nothing because you’re not using something.

The most fundamental use within your self is the use of polarity. It gives a false sense of ground. You don’t need that sense of ground in your self for you to move in your self, but then it’s you moving in your self instead of you, one with polarity, moving in your self.

Q: I do recognize the orientation on polarity because of the activity of my mind.

John: Because of the activity of polarity within your mind. The activity of mind with polarity and the activity of mind without polarity are fundamentally different.

Q: So in these moments there is the activity of mind without the orientation on polarity.

John: Yes. Life is the same, mind is the same, emotions are the same, experience is the same, all of existence is the same, but you are different. You are without polarity.

Q: Is this also referring to what you speak about as clear thinking?

John: Clear, yes. Clear because there isn’t the presence of polarity; thinking that is free of polarity, where there is no use of polarity, without measuring everything in your experience through likes and dislikes, advantage and disadvantage, good and bad. Everything continues to register similarly but without you, awareness, linking into polarity; without you using the sense of polarity to guide you in your experience; without using the sense of polarity to give you ground and traction. You have traction because you know, and you don’t need to give that knowledge polarity to have an extra sense of traction. Then instead of moving in reality, you move as reality.

Q: Which is only now. That is what I refer to when this is happening.

John: Yes. As you relax in that, you come into other levels of the now, levels of the now that include the past and the future, and then you can move into the past or into the future as non-polarized now. You can move within time, time as you’ve known it, but you’re moving in time as a different level of time that doesn’t relate to time as you’ve known it.

When you open to move in the future but as the non-polarized now that does later become practical, it enables you to make plans without your seeing being restricted by the plan. Within the making of a plan there’s a narrowing; you’re narrowing to an understood point. You’re able to move that narrowing without you, awareness, narrowing. It allows for a different level of thinking. It has the usefulness of being able to work with plans, but without awareness being narrowed because there is a narrowing of thought within the plan. There isn’t a merging with the thinking. The way that we’re accustomed to thinking is by being the thought forms, instead of simply moving them without having to be them to move them.

You’re accustomed to thinking by letting your thinking have your presence. It gives a false sense of security within thinking. It enables you to identify with what you’re thinking. While that gives presence, your presence, to your thinking, it also then ties feeling directly into thinking. So, while it offers you a sense of presence in your thinking, it also disables you from being able to think without the associated feeling that comes with such a thought form. So then you won’t be able to think while being free of your past. You’ll think because of your past. It’s difficult within that kind of thinking, the accustomed way of thinking, to have pure inspiration while thinking. It’s difficult to have authentic thought when you connect your presence into your thinking. You come into conditioned thought. It isn’t free thinking.

When you think without the use of polarization, you’ll no longer think because you feel. You’ll no longer think and therefore feel. Everything to do with thought is that you know, so then instead of thinking because you feel, you think because you know, enabling you within your thinking to give form to what you know. The giving of form doesn’t come from you grasping from your library of past thinking and past experience.

Q: I recognize that. This is a very slowing-down movement, too.

John: It’s, from the perspective of your self when you come into it a little bit, that it feels like you’re thinking needs to slow down. When you think without the use of polarity, there isn’t a reference to speed. There’s only reference to knowing, so then you can have two different spaces of thought at the same time, without the one interfering with the other. It’s the polarization that creates the interference. When you relate as awareness through polarization you cannot be in two places at the same time. Polarization makes everything in your experience come together, but it comes together on the basis of your past.

Q: That must be because in those moments, those spare moments, I feel completely free.

John: Free of polarization. When you think, then, without the use of polarization, you can think on the basis of perceived advantage without you, awareness, relating to advantage.

Q: Because that creates another polarity, you mean.

John: And a loss of energy. It’s an unnecessary use of energy.

Q: Then this is a very thin line to walk on.

John: The line is so fine that the use of experience is too coarse. All you have to walk it, to be it, is knowing.

When you relate through polarity, you create an electromagnetic field that you relate to as a constructive tension. It gives a false sense of reality, a false of grounding. What fuels that electromagnetic field of tension in your self is your energy. Your energy is used to supply something for you in your self that has no real value, so it is a continuous waste of energy. It is everything that’s used to give the sense that you are held together. It’s a subconscious holding that’s active in your waking experience that you fear losing.

Q: How does this fear go away?

John: By you believing what you know without the assistance of polarity. Polarity doesn’t tell you what you know. What you know directly is what tells you what you know.

Q: Is it true that this polarity also closes the heart?

John: It doesn’t directly close the heart, but when the alarm goes off in your polarity, you will close your heart. As long as everything seems all right from within the space of polarity, you’ll let your heart open. This allows the stimulation of illusion to close your heart.

Without your relationship to polarity, you naturally open. Polarity, when you’re relating through it, puts you into the defense and into the offense. Everything is measured by and through defense and offense. Then when you are open, you are conditionally open. Without any relationship to polarity in how you fundamentally relate as awareness, you are unconditionally open.

Q: What is there constricting inside of me?

John: Your fear of disappearing, disappearing through any loss of polarization; the fear of you disappearing because of you opening and opening and opening. As you open, you depolarize. When you open for a reason, you open through the perceived safety of polarization. When you open without a reason, when you open because opening is true and it needs no perceived surface connection, no surface reason, as you open, you depolarize.
