601 – Don’t Go Figure, Go Sweetly Within
Sometimes, figuring things out doesn’t work in the way we expect. Dissolving core patterns is one example of this, and John explains why.
Q: What I would ask is whether you could assist in bringing the being a little bit further to the surface and submerge the self in the being.
John: You can’t submerge your self in your being until your self has become the same as what your being is.
Q: So to become one. Would you be with me so I can be one?
John: As you can see, your being is all about communion, love, and realms…in contrast to your self, which is all about stories, advantage, disadvantage, gain and loss.
In your heart you have the door to your being and in your heart you also have the door to your self. Your self doesn’t belong in your heart. The tendency is to use the door in your heart that is to your self to bring your self into your heart. Instead of giving attention to the door that is in your heart that goes to your self, pay attention to the door that is in your heart that goes into what your being is.
As your heart opens and softens, the door in your heart to your being opens, and in your heart you’re beginning to relate in the same way that your being relates and moves. As you continue in the openness and the softness in your heart, you begin to realize most delicate streams of being very lightly begin to come into your heart; subtleties of being that become your heart’s delight. The stories in your self no longer occupy your heart and the subtleties of being completely occupy your heart.
Then you begin to realize the real purpose of the door in your heart that goes to your self. You won’t be using that door to bring your self into your heart. You’ll be using that door to bring the subtleties of being and the fine, fine streams of being into your self. There isn’t a story to it. It doesn’t give you advantage or disadvantage. It doesn’t relate to gain or to loss. Your self, through the subtleties of being and the streams of being, fill your heart brought into your self.
In your self you begin, a little bit, to relate in the way that you are in your being. A tiny little bit in your self begins to relate to communion, to love, and to realms. Communion, love and realms become your way in your self. Your self, little bit by little bit, becomes the same as your own being is, and as awareness you realize, in your living, kind mobility. With such mobility of being in your self, little bit by little bit you don’t have the constraints of what you are used to in your self. Advantage and disadvantage in your self begins to grow dim. Slowly it isn’t your relating anymore. Gain and loss begin to pass away. Instead of gain and loss in your self being something that you relate to, you relate to richness of subtlety.
In your self you begin to realize subtleties of being outside your self. In your self you being to realize streams of being outside of your self. You connect with it naturally outside your self because your self is becoming like what your being is, changing what life is for you. Gain has no luster and loss has no dullness. You are, in your self, subtleties and streams of being thriving in gain and thriving in loss, without your relating to any kind of preference.
You begin to have, little bit by little bit, a cosmic self that lives and functions and moves in this world instead of having only a worldly self that knows and functions only in this world.
Q: Thank you.
John: You asked and you’re answered. You’re taken on a tour. Awareness taken in, taken on a tour of the within, and being the within, and as the within moving without. It’s an experience, and much more than the experience it is your own knowing, within, that’s relating in all of it. It’s like a magical tour and when the tour is over and everything is done, you’re left realizing that there is a magical seed in your heart, and you know to plant the seed and to let it grow in your heart, to let it grow little bit by little bit.
Everything that is real within the seed in its growing you see as being reality, and you let all of its growing into your self … letting that replace what used to be real in your self. Gain and loss are displaced by subtleties and streams of being. Everywhere that there’s pain in your self, the growing of this seed in your heart introduces openness. The softness of being that is in the seed, as it grows it moves into your self and it displaces constriction.
You love the seed in your heart and you love its planting in your heart, and you love its growing in your heart, and you love its growing into all of your self. Its life is your new life. This tiny, whole seed planted in your heart, with your life given to it, later, in all of your self, becomes a whole tree full of fruit that all may have. The fruit goes out, and with it its seed.
A different way, a different self, a different life…all the same as your own being.

“My sole purpose is to be, in life, what we are after we’ve died. Through openness and softness of heart and core-splitting honesty at any personal cost, I live as that while actualizing the same in others I meet. I am available as a resource for anyone who recognizes and values this way of being.”
