A woman speaks the extreme difficulty of her circumstances: her husband is in a coma and she doesn’t know how to handle all it means, and parent her children through the crisis. John shows her how goodness can thrive in hardship and how this deeper perspective can be a nurturing ‘love school’ for them all.
What are the chakras or energy centres, and how do they relate to enlightenment? In this dialogue, John explains that the chakras are like gates. When they are closed we feel empty and stressed. When they are open, there is alignment and enlightenment.
A painful physical experience has woken this man up to his body and the power of love in healing. He’s shocked to see how he’s neglected his body and wants to change, but how? John encourages him to let his feelings of guilt create a love-relationship with his body starting with the simple enjoyment of being in it “in the little things”.
“I’m haunted by my abusive past. How can I let it go?” John shows us how our beliefs are embodied in our nervous system, creating experience we make our reality. He shows how real healing doesn’t come from understanding but from something much simpler: unconditional openness and softness of heart.
“When the reason for the universe enters you, enters you as consciousness, that’s like the universe starting all over again, but in you and in your body. That’s like the big bang happening in you. How much will that change everything?”
A deeper awakening is bringing a whole new perspective, a new intimacy with form and the beginning of what John describes as real humanness. He explains how this deeper connectivity brings about a shift in human sexuality and the consciousness of the planet.
“What is love?” is the question, and John’s response takes us first to the answer, and then into the many levels of love to be lived here in this life, and what remains after death. He then describes the purpose of integration and what is deeper, even, than being: what we are as meaning, aware … and moving.
“Your self is transforming from the inside out because of you being from the inside out.”
