“All you are is gentled within, and this movement of being wakes you up in your self to what is so much deeper than anything to do with your self, changing your whole sense and experience of your body and of reality. It changes your whole sense of self.”

Think of the splendor of The Canadian Rockies – beautiful right? Then there is beauty that cannot be imagined, and that’s the awakening deep within us. If awakening is your love, then you will find it at the annual camping trip with John de Ruiter, at the David Thompson Resort.

This is a gorgeous way to introduce yourself to John and his teachings, with two meetings with John per day, interspersed with open mics. You may find yourself at a meal with John and Leigh Ann discussing meaning in life with friends. Otherwise roam the campground and meet hundreds of other people who are living for the same essence. Relax among the trees or go for a swim in the glacier lake down the mountain trail. There will be bonfires, parties, dancing, even a movie night!

In this talk John talks about how to bring your spiritual awakening into your everyday life. He describes moving from within your heart, through the difficulties experienced on the surface levels, when bringing your awakening into form.

John speaks about deepening our spiritual awakening even while we’re feeling inadequate. Nothing needs to stop our spiritual awakening. It doesn’t matter if it temporarily makes us socially inept.
“You may lose their confidence in you and your confidence in your self, while you are really fattening up on beingness.”
John continues by saying “You’re losing what you don’t need while the roots of awareness are growing.”
This is a great introductory talk for people who are experiencing a lack of emotions but who wish to find deeper levels of consciousness and spiritual awakening.

Watch as John speaks to young adults about how to deal with difficult people at work. John encourages us to deepen in our spiritual awakening rather than relating to the frustration that comes with difficult people in the workplace. When we allow ourselves to develop and mature our spiritual awakening, with time, we grow wiser and become more balanced in learning how to deal with difficult people at work. “If you’re going to be your awakening, I’m giving you the short route.” – John de Ruiter. This is a great introductory talk for people who experience someone being angry at work and want to give feedback but don’t know how.

John talks about how to relate to trauma during a crisis. He speaks to the repetitive nature of trauma as it re-occurs like in the movie “Groundhog Day”, and how we can open and love within that trauma, or get lost in “The Matrix”.

“As you come back into balance, you begin to have access to deeper levels of your being. As you come into that, you’re coming into your real power.”

“A polarized self in a polarized world is a gift to oneness, for oneness to be and move in. Its movement is the movement of your being; its movement is love; and its movement, though you cannot yet see it, is the development of your soul.”

Q: I work in organic agriculture. I’m surrounded by people who are afraid of technology, and what things are doing to nature. It can be difficult to stay in that field because I don’t buy all that fear-mongering, but at the same time there…
Q: John, could you say something about why we’re all here in the mountains? John: Why are you here? Q: I’m here because we’re all here! Why did you initiate this for us? John: It’s a different environment for all of us to be…
